1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing cognition-dataterm.digital and enrolling in Cognition Dataterm Academy programs, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site or purchase informational offerings. 2. Educational Nature of Services
Programs provide structured learning materials, mentor feedback where stated, and cohort facilitation. Nothing on this site constitutes financial, investment, legal, or tax advice for your jurisdiction.
3. Accounts and Accuracy
You agree to provide accurate registration details and to keep credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account unless you notify us promptly of unauthorised use.
4. Intellectual Property
Course materials, templates, and branding remain our property or that of our licensors. You receive a limited, non-transferable licence for personal learning during access periods. Redistribution, resale, or scraping is prohibited.
5. Acceptable Use
You will not interfere with site security, harass staff or learners, upload malware, or attempt to extract bulk data beyond normal browsing. We may suspend access for violations.
6. Liability Limits
To the fullest extent permitted under South African law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of materials. Aggregate liability for direct losses is limited to fees paid for the specific cohort in the twelve months before the claim, except where law forbids such caps.
7. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Parties consent to the jurisdiction of South African courts. You may also pursue mediation through a mutually agreed forum before litigation.
8. Termination and Changes
We may update these Terms with a revised date at the top. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We may suspend or terminate access for breach. Certain provisions survive termination, including intellectual property and liability limits.
